Pozo Izquierdo is one of the best places to practice Windsurfing around the world, for
this reason it was appointed as a host city for Windsurfing Worlds Championship.
Pozo Izquierdo is located on the southeast of Gran Canaria, near from the Gando´s Airport (17 kms). If you want to learn or practice this sport, you can stay in La Botavara accommodations near the beach. In La Botavara you can find private windsurf teachers, a restaurant, a swimming pool, a disco and many other services.

Wow, a marvellos place to be, for sure! I have been to quite a few places in Europe but not yet to the Canaries. I say - not YET.
