Roque Nublo, Gran Canaria



    
 The Roque Nublo, located in the centre of Gran Canaria, in Tejeda`s municipality, is one of the most representative places of Gran Canaria Island.



     It is also one of the biggest volcanic plugs in the world and it's 80 meters high and 1813 meters from the sea level. Moreover, due to it's height , it is one of the most beautifull viewpoints in the island.



     There is a path to arrive to the volcanic plug in which you will be able to enjoy with a marvellous vegetation and sigths.


     The Roque Nublo and “The Frog” (name of the rock beside of the first one), are also prepared to the professionals of the rock climbing



     In 1987 it was declared Nature Reserve and in 1994 it was declared Rural Park.
    It is a great place to enjoy with your family and friends!!

  1. I like so much this blog, ive visited Gran Canaria three times and i think these pictures make a perfect summery about the whole island... Gran Canaria is full of wonderfull landscapes! it must be the chosen place to enjoy ur holidays.. it would be a very good election...
